Nigerian stars top Africa’s richest artist list (DSTV list)

PSquare                                                                                                                                                                       Nigeria’s superstars P Square, D’Banj, 2Face and Banky W have been listed in Africa Answers’ list of ten wealthiest artists.

According to the list, P Square was named the richest Nigerian artist after Senegalese singer Youssou N’Dour in Africa. D’Banj came third on the list, 2Face is ranked seventh, while Banky W came in at the ninth position.

According to the online journal, P Square rakes in more than $150 000 per show. Their Squareville, which is located in Ikeja, is said to be worth $3 million and as part of their brand support, they also have a three-year deal with Glo, a Nigerian telecommunication company as brand ambassadors where they are reportedly paid a million dollars every year.

D’Banj is said to have made $1million to star on his own reality show, Koko Mansion. His crib in Atlanta is said to be worth $1.5million and the star is reported to charge up to $100 000 per show.

2Face has vast investments in real estate across Nigeria and earns around $50k to $80k per show. He also owns a nite club in Ikeja, Lagos.
