Celine Dion has shared some advice with Beyonce on becoming a mother to twins – telling her “it’s going to be hectic”.
Beyonce announced she was pregnant with twins earlier this month by posting an elaborate photo shoot showing off her bump, and Celine – a mother of twins herself, Nelson and Eddy, six – thinks the singer ‘knows what she’s doing’ when it comes to the new arrivals.
“I think it’s a double blessing,” the legendary Celine told E! News . “I have twins. I think she’s covered. She’s been in the business for so long, she’s got her own people. When she does something, she knows what she’s doing.
“It’s going to be hectic in the house!”
Even so, Celine’s confident Beyonce will cope – and points out that the singer has good people around her and is already a great mum to Blue Ivy, five.
“She’s fortunate enough that she can have all the people that she wants to help her, but no one will ever replace a mom and she’s a great mom. I’m pretty sure of that.”
Celine – who’s also mum to 16 year old Rene-Charles Angelil – had some other kind words for Beyonce, and praised her greatness: “She looks amazing, she makes women dream. She’s so beautiful, she’s on top of things.”
Legendary singer Celine is coming to the UK this summer as part of her wider European tour.
It’s been nine years since UK fans of the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer have been able to see her perform live on home soil.
The European tour kicks off in Copenhagen in June, followed by stops in Sweden, England, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Germany.
After the tour, Céline will return to Las Vegas for another series of performances as part of her residency at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, and release two new albums, in French and English, during the autumn.
