Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson ‘s shocking rant was allegedly directed at his co-star Vin Diesel, TMZ claims.

The website reports that a secret meeting was held on the Fast 8 set on Tuesday, where the two stars talked through matters.

It has been claimed that The Rock had clashed with Vin, who has been acting as a producer on the new film Fast 8, and that a few of his decisions rubbed the former wrestling star the wrong way.

While it remains unclear if the issues had been resolved, it was claimed that it was difficult to resume filming after The Rock’s social media outburst.

We have reached out the The Rock and Vin Diesel’s representatives.

The Rock dropped the emotional bombshell in Hollywood on Monday with his public rant about his Fast 8 co-stars and they’re not happy about it, according to a new report.

The Rock didn’t name names, but he stars in the movie alongside Vin Diesel, Scott Eastwood, Jason Statham, Ludacris and Tyrese in the new flick.

“Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s*** to do anything about it anyway. Candy a****,” he wrote in the emotional Facebook post.

While none of his co-stars have responded to his venting on Facebook, a source has told E! News that filming Fast 8 “wasn’t easy for anyone”, but that it had been particularly hard on The Rock.

The insider claimed that things “didn’t feel the same” on the set of the movie.

The source defended the wrestler and actor as being “the best guy on the planet to work with” but said that he’s “also a very emotional guy”.

His attitude did cause a bit of friction on set, the source told the website.

“Some of the guys did some small things that p***** him off, so he snapped. He called them out and they were [too] silent to man up and say what they wanted to say,” the insider claimed.

But despite the difficulties that the co-stars faced “all is cool now” as they enter the last few days of filming.

Meanwhile, TMZ production sources have claimed that The Rock’s co-stars are upset with the way that the filming is coming to an end.

“This is a hell of a way to end it,” an insider told the website.

While one source claims that it was “extreme egos” that had been the root of problems caused on set.
